Thieves And Assassins are a melodic hardcore band from Long Island. Taking influences from their home turf, they mix in a heavy dose of Bad Religion, other 80's/90's west coast bands, some contemporary melodic hardcore as well as some of the earlier-mid period melodic items in the Dischord catalog.

Five years in the making, this long-awaited release builds upon the layered melodic-aggressive guitars, pounding drums and socio-political and personal lyrics that characterized T&A's first release.

This release features the most detailed packaging yet in an Iron Pier release and each mailorder comes in special aftermarket (albeit non-utilitarian) packaging.

Dirty Looks play Brooklyn nuevo-grunge and sound to the band like The Gits and Dead Moon and to some others like The Vaselines, Bikini Kill and early Replacements. Ex Members of: Bent Outta Shape, Crybaby Macarthur, Beer Garden, United States, Scent Of Human History, Neverending Party, etc.

Now the 7" is out - 4 songs recorded by Steve Roche in Philadelphia at Permanent Hearing Damage and pressed onto 500 slabs of vinyl.
350 were pressed on black, 150 on red. Iron Pier has 75 color copies for mail-order customers plus pins and tour posters.
