IRP09 – Capital “Blind Faith” 7″ / Digital Download
“Blind Faith” is the new 7″ from Long Island, New York’s Capital. It is about religion, corporate greed, and personal politics, among other things. Like the topics, the lyrics are honest and relatable; the music – fast, driving and anthemic.
Back in 2006, Capital released their debut on Iron Pier and dropped their sophomore on the mighty REVELATION. Now in 2009, Iron Pier and Just A Audial bring you these neglected and unheard songs. They were originally slotted to appear on a split with Crime In Stereo. After that release got shelved, Capital, IRP and JAA joined forces to put this record out: seven friends, three songs, one record.
Capital draw influence from other Long Island bands like Crime In Stereo, Kill Your Idols, Latterman, etc. but also playing a role in their musical evolution are Quicksand, Bad Religion and Dag Nasty.
This 7” is pressed on several limited varieties of colored vinyl and each record comes with a personalized redeemable mp3 download coupon. In the coming months the songs on this album will be available on iTunes, Emusic, Rhapsody, Downloadpunk.com, and other music download sites.

IRP08 – Thieves And Assassins “Martyr Brigade” CD
Thieves And Assassins play melodic hardcore reminiscent of Bad Religion, Strike Anywhere and various hardcore/punk bands from the west coast in the 1990’s. After several years playing on just two CD-R demo’s and a 7″ Thieves And Assassins finally have a bona fide release. This is a release we are all very excited on: the songwriting, musically and lyrically, is continually interesting and politically and socially relevant; the packaging is top-notch, with art that complements the theme of the record. Liner notes printed on special-grade paper.
“Martyr Brigade” is the documentation of a band fully realizing themselves and their potential. With heart, intelligence and perseverance; Thieves And Assassins have carved out a place for themselves in the world of melodic hardcore.

IRP07 – Dirty Looks “Dirty Looks” 7″ EP
Release Date: April 10th, 2007
Dirty Looks play Brooklyn nuevo-grunge and sound to the band like The Gits and Dead Moon and to some others like The Vaselines, Bikini Kill and early Replacements. Ex Members of: Bent Outta Shape, Crybaby Macarthur, Beer Garden, United States, Scent Of Human History, Neverending Party, etc.
Dirty Looks was born in September 2005 in Brooklyn, NY when Skip and Nate were living in a two-bedroom apartment on Bartlett St. The living room became the practice space and soon Ren and Gaylen joined them. Cheap 12 packs would be purchased from the freezer section at Food Bazaar and Gaylen would scream over the boys jamming through blown-out PA speakers. Another resident of Bartlett would slam the door and give dirty looks.
Now the 7″ is out – 4 songs recorded by Steve Roche in Philadelphia at Permanent Hearing Damage and pressed onto 500 slabs of vinyl. 350 were pressed on black, 150 on red.

IRP06 – Agent “I Wouldn’t Trade That For Anything” CDEP
